PRINCE RELEASE THE NEW SINGLE "THE BREAKDOWN". LISTEN

 

After resuming ties with Warner Music  where he recorded 18 albums between 1978 and 1996, the singer and multi-instrumentalist Prince released the new single The Breakdown.

The single will be part of his new album, which still has no release date.

Cameron Strang, CEO of the record company, says: “He is one of the biggest stars in the world and a truly unique talent,”.

Leaving behind all the hurts that occurred in the past, the veteran musician bet on a new relationship with the company: “We are delighted with the results of the negotiations and look forward to a fruitful working relationship.”

The american singer Bruno Mars won a platinum disc in Brazil by more than 40,000 sales copies from her second studio album Unorthodox Jukebox , released on December 7, 2012 by Atlantic Records.

The certification was awarded by ABPD (Brazilian Association of Producers Disc).

With profound influences of soul music, jazz and reggae, Unorthodox Jukebox shows the Mars ability to use all these elements in his compositions with great sophistication, with lyrics that explore issues of love and disappointments in romantic relationships.

The highlights of this album: Locked Out Of Heaven, When I Was Your Man and Treasure.

Mars won a Grammy Award for Best Vocal Album Pop this year.

The certification was awarded by ABPD (Brazilian Association of Discs Producers).

The process of Love Is a Four Letter Word can be dated in 2009 when the artist informed his audience through his MySpace´s page that he was planning a new album.

The album was completed in December 2011 and a little over a month later, Mraz released the name of the new work at the Sundance Film Festival.

The singer was recently in Brazil, when he opened the show with Stevie Wonder in São Paulo.
