The american singer-songwriter Jason Mraz won a Golden Disc by more than 20 thousands sales copies of the Atlantic Records album Love Is a Four Letter Word released on April 13, 2011. In Brazil, the album was released by Warner Music.
The certification was awarded by ABPD (Brazilian Association of Producers Disc).
The birth of Love Is a Four Letter Word can be dated in 2009 when the artist informed his audience through his MySpace´s page that he was planning a new album.
The album was completed in December 2011 and a little over a month later, Mraz released the name of the new work at the Sundance Film Festival.
The singer was recently in Brazil, when he opened the show with Stevie Wonder in São Paulo.
